Killer Whales, Also called Orcas, are the largest of the dolphins, and are one of the strongest, and most powerful predators on earth.

Basic Life

Killer whales are Mammals, as well as carnivores and only eat meat. They travel in pods, similar to dolphins, and they can live between 50- 80 years in the wild. They can weigh up to 6 tons, as much as a school bus. and reach up to 32 ft. in size. They feast on marine animals such as seals, penguins, sea lions, and whales, their teeth that can be four inches long. They are also known to grab seals right off the ice. They also eat fish, squid, and seabirds. They live in all the major oceans around the world, and remain mostly harmless to humans. They are known for killing sharks specifically the Great White, only for defending their pod. They can reach up to 60 miles per hour while hunting.
